UNIVERSE 01

One SaaS platform to run a café's entire operation

Ahwa — Café Operating System

Ahwa is the largest system I've built to date: a full SaaS operating platform for café owners, covering everything a café needs to run day to day — not a single tool bolted onto another, but one connected operation from front counter to back office. The architecture is built to extend naturally into restaurants as well.

My Role

Solo full-stack architect and builder.

Focus

Product architecture and SaaS operations design.

Key Points

End-to-end café operations in one SaaS platform, built as an original product, architected to extend into restaurants.

Case Study

Problem & Constraints

Café owners typically juggle disconnected tools — a POS here, a spreadsheet there, WhatsApp for staff coordination — with no single place that reflects how the business actually runs day to day.

Solution & Decisions

I designed and built Ahwa as a single SaaS platform that models the café's real operation end to end, so every part of the business — from the counter to the back office — runs through one connected system instead of scattered tools.

Outcome & Results

A production-scale operating system built as my own product rather than a client commission — proof of the ability to design and ship a genuinely large, multi-part platform from the ground up, with an architecture ready to extend into the restaurant vertical.

Project FAQs

Is Ahwa built for a specific client?

No — it is my own product, built to prove the ability to design a full SaaS operation from scratch.

Can it work for restaurants too?

Yes, the architecture was designed to extend into restaurants as well as cafés.
