Why Technical SEO is the Secret to Google Page 1 Rankings

A look into how extreme performance tuning and proper schema injection helped GrowLik dominate search results.

Most developers think SEO is just about adding `<title>` and `<meta name='description'>` tags. While content is king, Google’s crawler heavily penalizes slow, poorly structured websites. In my work on the GrowLik platform, Technical SEO was the absolute priority.

Performance as a Ranking Factor

Google uses Core Web Vitals (LCP, FID, CLS) to rank pages. For GrowLik, I utilized Next.js Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and aggressive image optimization to ensure a 100/100 Lighthouse score. The site loads almost instantly, keeping bounce rates extremely low.

Structured Data (Schema.org)

To give Google exact context, I injected dynamic JSON-LD structured data into every page. This translates raw text into semantic entities that search engines understand perfectly. Combined with custom GTM (Google Tag Manager) tracking, these engineering practices propelled the site to the #1 spot on Google's first page.
